We present you another incredible piece of furniture in our collection — this elegant and highly exquisite Biedermeier secretary desk circa 1860.<\/p>\n

The secretary desk was manufactured in Northern Europe. This item has been made in the method of veneering with mahogany onto a frame of coniferous and deciduous tree. <\/p>\n

Presented piece of furniture has a stepped cornice, called by the native Danes “the head of Copenhagen”, under which an ornamental border with a floral motif and a practical drawer are located. Just under the cornice, there is a rectangular, lockable lid. <\/p>\n

After opening the lid, six sliding, neat drawers are visible, and a shelf that is perfect for storing documents and valuable jewelry. <\/p>\n

The lower section of the secretary desk is composed of three drawers. All escutcheons have been ornamented with beautiful, golden plates, which additionally enrich presented closet.<\/p>\n

The whole is supported on four plinths, connected with each other with a decorative, wavy apron.<\/p>\n
