\n Carlo Follini, born in 1848 in Domodossola and died in 1938, is an Italian painter, representing landscapes.
He studied accounting in Turin, but chose at the age of 24 to study painting at the Accademia Albertina, then under the guidance of Antonio Fontanesi.
In 1883, fifteen studies from nature were exhibited in Rome. He painted Alpine Water kept at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome. He is said to be one of Fontanesi’s most popular students, because of his sprezzatura and the strength and energy of his coloring in his studies from nature.
He moved to Bologna to join the army, but began studying art. He also travels to Venice, Milan, Florence and Naples. Among his students is Romolo Ubertalli. Brown wooden frame
