*Dufy, a French artist born in the late 19th century, was a leading figure in the Fauvist movement, known for their use of bold colors. Though associated with Fauvism, Dufy’s style wasn’t confined to one movement. He embraced vibrant colors throughout his career, creating lively paintings depicting scenes of leisure and social gatherings. His artistic talents extended beyond painting, making him a skilled printmaker, textile designer, and even furniture designer.
