Vintage Pair Polished Stainless Steel Mies Van Der Rohe ~ Knoll Barcelona Lounge Chairs, C1970s

Pair of vintage Mies Van Der Rohe for Knoll stainless steel Barcelona chairs, c1970s but possibly older. Chairs were bought in the late 1980s in a shop in NYC and were heavily used then. Each chair having brown leather cushions on a highly polished stainless steel frame. Leather straps. Unmarked as Knoll did not start marking these chairs until the late 1990s. Frames are good condition and show some signs of age and use with some marks along feet, etc. Leather on cushion has very nice patina. Unfortunately one cushion has a tear on the corner (see photo). One strap torn and held in place with Velcro.
Chairs measure 30 X 30 X 29.75 high.
