Hallmarked in London in 1862 by Alfred Ivory, this rare, Victorian Antique Sterling Silver Cafetiere, is plain in style, with a scroll handle, and an engraved crest to one side.
The cafetiere measures 8.25″(21cm) tall, by 7″(18cm) wide, by 4″(10cm) deep, and weighs 23.8 troy ounces.
The crest is likely that of Major-General Hugh Richard Dawnay, 8th Viscount Downe.
