Regency Brass Hand Painted Floor Lamp with Paw Feet, 1930s

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely handmade in France circa 1930 brass and hand painted floor standing lamp of very fine order with Lion’s hairy paw feet A super decorative and beautifully made floor standing lamp, made in the French Empire taste, it looks Regency by design but is of course very early 20th century, I have never seen one quite as lovely as this before and with the original shade as well The piece has been serviced, all cables checked and any parts that needed replacing have been, it has age related ware and patina, the paint is worn in places as you can see pictured Dimensions Height:- 159cm Width:- 50cm shade Depth:- 50cm shade Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
