An early edition of the iconic anglepoise lamp in original gold painted finish.
Manufactured in Reddich England by Herbert Terry and Sons Limited.
The original prototypes of this iconic lamp were introduced during the mid 1930’s this example features a two step base and slender perforated shade and dates somewhere between the late 1930’s and early 40’s.
The remnants of the existing gold paint remains with wonderful patination showing hints of the original red primer coat.
A stunning and rare lamp that will make a perfect feature piece for any side table or desk.
