Minton tin-glazed majolica wall plate which features a hand-painted scene of a hunting party in a country landscape. The plate was painted by Edouard Rischgitz – a Swiss painter. Colouration: brown, blue, green, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Minton pottery. Bears makers marks, ‘MINTON’ and ‘3.0’ in manganese script over opaque white tin-glaze. The piece is also signed by the artist Edouard Rischgitz.
