Louis XIV Property Chair, Early 18th Century

High -back Louis XIV chair with balusters feet, with balls in the lower part. These are gathered by hectic, cut and molded spacers on the edges. The seat redone with straps and springs (for more comfort) is covered with a flower tapestry enveloping the entire chair. This is embellished with large golden gold nails bringing cachet to the whole.
