Induction coil by Du Bois Reymond, also known as Sled of the Du Bois Reymond system designed around 1870 during electrophysiology studies by Emil Du Boid Reymond (1818-1896) known German physiologist. There are two coils, a fixed one and a larger mobile one, that runs on the small coil by means of a rack sled with a graduated scale. The current is maximum when the moving coil is completely overlapped to the small one and decreases as far as it is. By connecting a galvanometer it is possible to verify the variation of the current. Good condition. Measures: Length 40 cm, width 14.5 cm.
