French sideboard or server was reconstructed in the mid-19th century from an 18th century server. The paneled back, the right and left side of the front, and the sides are 18th century. The drawers were reconstructed in the mid-19th century. The top, sides, and back panels are cherry, the front legs and drawer dividers are oak, and the drawer fronts are walnut. The piece is finished on all four sides. The top has a molded edge all the way around with bread board ends on the top. The drawers have steel handles and brass shield
