English Staffordshire platter, the rim has stylized flowers on a light blue background; the border features whimsical figures ( scrolls, flowers, etc) , this is followed by the slanted inner edge with flowers and arabesques on a salmon colored background. The main body of the platter has a oriental baluster urn as the central focus, surrounded by stylized flowers, scrolls , acorn and other figures. . The back is plain white with the exception of the mark ”Woodseat” and the impressed mark ” Minton BB” (which stands for best body)
