English 19th century decorative painted chapel cupboard
circa 1860.
circa 1860.
The 3 Gothic arc panels, painted with a dark green ground and the flanking arches have faded gilding and quite a faint quatrefoil design, reminiscent of Pugin. The stand out central panel is beautifully painted with Lilies and a ribbon which reads “Glorious St Joseph Died For Us”
Has its original brass door latch which is a lovely shape.
Would make a great bathroom vanity.
