Early 20th Century Asian Japanese Stacked Tansu Chests Cabinet

Here is a fantastic pair of Asian Japanese tansu chests that can stack to form a taller, storage cabinet. Each piece is made from the same wood and has the same hardware, but they differ slightly. One cabinet has 4 drawers, while the other has only sliding doors. They are made to fit on top of each other so they are pretty secure this way. However, they also look great side by side! And I love that you get options in case your needs/space changes. The wood is warm and has a beautiful natural grain. They are solid wood, but a lighter weight species. The insides are raw unfinished wood. Hardware is really special and is in a black metal finish.
