British Sailor’s Woolwork of Royal Navy Ship,
The sailor’s woolwork or woolie depicts a starboard view of a Second-Rate Royal Navy Ship with three masts. The rigging is done in a thick thread and is quite prominent in the image. The ship flies a White Ensign. The wool is within a wide wood, possibly mahogany frame.
Dimensions: 21 3/4 inches high x 29 1/4 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches deep.
