The body of this antique goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved floral and foliate festoons.
The decoration to the body incorporates an oval vacant cartouche to the centre.
The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved decoration to the border, incorporating two undulating bands.
The lower portion of the body features further undulating bands of impressive bright cut engraved decoration.
The foot of the exceptional goblet is ornamented with further bands of bright cut engraved decoration, encircling the plain and unembellished stem.
Condition
This antique bright cut engraved silver goblet is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.
The goblet has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the goblet are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
