The central part of the chandelier is a massive decorative element, from which emerge several elegantly curved arms, carrying a total of 24 candle bulbs with E14 sockets up to 40 W (normal, halogen and LED bulbs are suitable). The arms are decorated with intricate motifs of leaves and flowers, giving the chandelier a sophisticated and ornamental look. Each arm is carefully crafted and finished with fine details that underline the precision of the workmanship.
The upper part of the chandelier is connected to the main body by a central richly decorated rod and also by means of four slender, decorated supports, which create a harmonious and balanced structure. The decorative top of the chandelier is complemented by delicate twisted elements that add lightness and airiness to the whole piece.
This chandelier is not only functional lighting, but also a distinctive decorative element that will add a touch of elegance and majesty to any interior. It is ideal for representative spaces, historic interiors or luxurious residences, where it will become an unmissable centerpiece of the entire space. This chandelier was used in several shootings where it was necessary to create a historical aristocratic interior.
Condition: the chandelier has been completely restored in an artistic blacksmith’s workshop: completely new wiring in copper with grounding, new sockets, new pods, the chandelier has been completely cleaned. Fully functional condition – ready to hang and use.
Provenance: The chandelier was taken from the interior of a town castle in Belgium.
Date: second half of the 19th century. The chandelier was originally gas-powered, the arms still have the original faucets that opened the gas. The wiring of the chandelier took place at the beginning of the 20th century, and now this installation has been modernized again.
