This antique Karabagh Persian carpet circa 1870 in pure handspun wool showcases an allover paisley, or “boteh,” design in red, navy, cream and green. Light blue and gold touches complement the field and border, in continuity with the carpet’s organic design. Utilizing vegetable dyes in a Persian Karabagh weave, this carpet is in great antique condition. The size is 4’11” x 9’4”.
