Antique 1800s French Copper Fish Poacher With Strainer

Imported from Belgium. Classic French cuisine accessory. Copper fish poacher with brass and iron handle. Crimped seams. Removable strainer. Now often used as a display item to hold fruits, vegetables, or potted herbs.

The poacher measures 23 x 6 x 4 1/2 inches deep. The poacher itself without the handle measures 21 inches wide. It is 9 1/2 inches tall with the handle up.
