Vintage Design
Great original fifties modernist floor light. Complete metal base, metal stand and a metal articulating arm with a metal shade. Attractive neutral color combination black and ( off ) white, metal details. The design is clearly influenced by the Italian lighting designs of the fifties by Arteluce and Stilnovo, this is a ( Dutch ) Philips, Anvia or Van Doorn product. This exact same model is pictured in the ‘Goed Wonen’ magazine of 1963 and in the 1960 Home furnishing book ‘Ons Huis’ ( our home ).
Adjustable height, from 110-170 cm. Dia shade 29 cm.
Can be used in your home right away, all parts have been checked on damages, wiring replaced through the whole lamp. All is suitable for 250 V / modern LED bulb ( E 27 ).
