2019 “Sheilds on Black #6” Abstract Oil Painting – Six Panels – by Mary Alice Copp –

This is a wonderfully vibrant, original, contemporary abstract oil painting. Comprised of six panels, or a hexaptych, each panel is 20”x 45” on Heavy Duty Arches Watercolor paper. Therefore, the total width of this piece is 120”.

It’s difficult to capture the depth and richness of the brush strokes and oil paint in photographs. They are stunning in person.

Mary Alice Copp’s portraiture, landscapes, and abstract works have been shown in many museum and gallery exhibitions worldwide. Ten of her “Side by Sides” were acquired and are in Stanford University’s Art Collection.
