19th Century Victorian inlaid mother-of-pearl & gilt papier mache chair.
This elegantly shaped chair is detailed with Mother Of Pearl inlaid patterns of flowers and birds in flight, highlighted with gilt ornamentation throughout. The gentle scalloped back is down-curving to roll-over arms. Signed. The seat is covered in a white silk fabric.
The chair is in very good condition overall, wear is consistent with age and use with some minor fading. No restorations or modifications have been made.
