This unusual pair of Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Entree Dishes are hexagonal in shape. The domes are hallmarked in London in 1843 by Garrard. The bases are hallmarked in London in 1870 by Stephen Smith and presumably made for the domes, as they fit perfectly and carry the same crest. The bases have applied decorative borders. The domes have applied leaf work to the corners with large, crown like handles. The bases have a diameter of 12”(31cm). The overall height is 8.5″(21cm). The total weight of the pair is 127 troy ounces.
