This very attractive and delicate late 19th century inlaid mahogany salon sofa is
raised on cabriole legs with pad feet and united by stretchers on all sides. The seat has been recently upholstered in a cotton linen blend fabric and is bordered with a golden trim. The settee features shaped arms and a back with three fretted splats, each ornately decorated with scrolls and stringing detail, and has been beautifully inlaid with bone. In very good condition. This lovely piece would work well in a wide range of decors and styles within the home.
