Very Rare Double Font Wedding Lamp, by D.C. Ripley (patented 1870), with two blown into mold aqua blue opaline reservoirs, clambroth match holder, and milk glass base, stamped with maker’s name and date on one side of collar. The lamp remains in fine condition with original brass burners, though there are a few original tiny fissures made when the lamp was pressed.
This is a very rare period oil lamp, called a “wedding lamp” due to the two fonts “married” together in one lamp. It is in a classic and very desirable color combination, and remains in great condition.
