This is a mid-century French bent bamboo sofa in very good condition. The upholstery is a printed zebra cotton. It dates to the 1960s. Discounts will be given for purchasing multiple pieces.

Extremely comfortable with medium firm foam cushions surrounded by a layer of feather padding. Very comfortable to sit or lay on. The back cushions firmly conform the the small of the back with plenty of support and comfort. All cushions are reversible. The bottom cushions have elastic straps to keep them in place.

The top edge is trimmed in a brown velvet faux suede.

Le Jeune Upholstery St Tropez 2-Seat Sofa Showroom Model

Offered for sale is a Le Jeune Upholstery ST. TROPEZ 2 seat sofa floor model. The sofa is scaled for small to medium-sized rooms with soft curved edges on the seat and back corners of the frame. Having a curved back helps the sitting as the inside corners hug your back for added comfort. The throw pillow also helps to adjust for your comfort. The sofa is offered as a tight seat and is prepared using coil springs covered by a combination of firm and medium-density padding. The skirt design is shown as a kick pleat style and is tall for elegance. The fabric used for the upholstery and the included pillow is an off-white linen. The sofa is solid hardwood frame construction and is American-made.

The sofa has light fabric stains on the skirt corners and the top cushion as depicted.

A rare Adrian Pearsall sofa in original atomic green upholstery with back cushions and two pillows. Accented with stunning walnut trim and legs. Has new red striped jute webbing, so seat is firm and feels like new. We have the matching coffee table in a separate listing.

Designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1969 for Cassina, the Soriana lounge chair is a piece of design history. Here we have a completely original vintage example in original velvet corduroy upholstery. Both pieces in this set are marked with original manufacturer’s and importer’s label. More images upon request.

The padding of Soriana is made of polyurethane foam and Dacron fiberfill, upholstered with wool or leather and enveloped by a clamp made of chromed steel. Two parts compose the external cage. Two steel plates link them with the basis. Then, two covered buttons on the sides of the backrest link the coating with the external support elements. Furthermore, two covered buttons placed on the front of the backrest tighten the upholstery to improve the shape. This is possible since a wire links them with two plastic supports embedded in the back of the clamp. There are four covered buttons on the seat linked with the base. The two-seater sofa presents, likewise, two clamps. Moreover, the three-seater one shows three clamps. The base is made of black lacquered beech.

In 1970, Soriana won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro prize at the Milan Triennale for the “complexity of the image achieved with construction and technical means of remarkable simplicity and consistency.” In 1980 Cassina stopped producing the original piece.
