A large sculptural pottery table lamp with incised decoration and original lampshade. Purchased from the first owner and comes from a period modernist appartment in Brussels, Belgium. The table lamp is of French origin and is bought somewhere in the 1960s in the south of France. The sculptural pottery lamp base has a very interesting shape and the intricate incised decoration makes it even more special. Please note the wonderful scalloped upper rim of the lamp base, the high quality brass fittings and the period switch. Also please note the lamp still has its original lampshade with a decorative blue ring in woven fabric which complements the lamp base in a perfect way. Just a wonderful and highly original period piece. The lamp comes in a wonderful original condition.
