Walnut Desk by George Nelson for Herman Miller, 1949

Large office of george nelson (1908-1986) in walnut “eog” model (executive office group) for herman miller usa. Design from 1949. Edited from 1949 to 1977. This office is made up of a walnut tray. This is supported by two boxes of two drawers and three drawers with aluminum handles. The lock is present on a box but the key is not available. On the other box the lock is absent. The herman miller label under the tray part at the storage niche. Round tubular base is made of chromed steel. Feet tips are adjustable to obtain optimal stability. Nice choice of walnut leaves on the boxes and the tray. A walnut facade is available, it allows the bottom of the office to be partitioned between the two boxes. The tray has marks of uses like a few scratches as well as the boxes and the facades of the drawers. The whole is good vintage general condition.
