This Persian Tabriz Hadjalili rug was tied around 1860. This is a high quality piece of work that is a beautiful example of how quality lasts – this rug is also interesting as an investment. The rug has a pleasant ivory color and a very delicate pattern with a central medallion and two contrasting vases. Stylized floral border. The fringes are modern and the original ones can still be seen at the end of the carpet. Binding density around 250,000 knots per m2. The hair consists of high-quality wool and the warp is cotton. Condition: considering its age, the carpet is in excellent condition. The pile of the carpet is uniformly high. The carpet is clean.
