This applique quilt is light, airy and graceful. The body is quilted with a crosshatch pattern with half wreaths along the border and full wreaths in the corners. The leaves look like grape leaves which is why I think the circles are not berries but that is open to interpretation. It has been professionally laundered and is in excellent condition. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1860. Measurements are 78″ x 80″.
