Elegant Empire Ceilingier: a fascinating hot air balloon chandelier
This oval ceiling light, dating back to the 1930s -40 of the twentieth century, was made of bronze. The upper part is embellished with glass leaves, while a large central fascia is decorated with files of faceted octagonal crystals.
Its peculiar form in a hot air balloon gives this chandelier a unique aspect, evoking the majesty and grace of a airship.
After a complete restoration, the chandelier was brought back to its ancient splendor, with the replacement of electrical cables keeping the original lamps intact. Equipped with 8 large E27 lamp holders, it is also able to work with led bulbs.
