Vintage Design
A unique Vienna Secession ceiling lamp.
The Wiener Werkstätte at its best!
The lamp was designed by Otto Wagner and custom made. Sadly we don’t know which building in Vienna it was made for.
Purchased it an auction in Vienna long time ago.
The appearance of the lamp is “strict” yet playfull. The lamp is, on two sides, decorated with the typical repatitive balls which are customary in several Secession lamps from that period. The Four balls hanging on brass ballchains are made of White Murano glass.
All together a well balanced lamp that stood and stands the test of time.
