Victorian circa 1860 Swedish Brown Leather Chesterfield Club Sofa Fully Sprung

A really very rare find, you won’t see another one of these for sale anywhere especially in this condition

This piece would have been fully reupholstered in the 1940s, it has the exceptionally thick leather that never seems to age or wear out, the legs are totally original, and solid to the frame

The sofa is fully sprung, the as base as you would expect but fully sprung on the back and arms, it is by far and away the only Chesterfield club sofa I’ve ever sat on that’s actually comfortable

It terms of condition the sofa is pretty much the finest example you will ever see, as things Stand there’s two button ends missing which will be refitted prior to dispatch and that’s it, we’ve had a new hessian base fitted, we removed the old fabric one as it was worn and we always inspect the coil sprung platform to ensure the springs are in the correct place
