Hallmarked in London in 1877 by Barnard Brothers, this incredible, Victorian, Antique Sterling Silver Wall Charger, is a rare to find example of the ‘Warwick Charger’, which matches the design of the famous ‘Warwick Vase’ found in 1771 at Hadrians Villa in Tripoli.
The wall charger is richly decorated with Bacchic ornament in the traditional Roman style.
The wall charger measures 25″(64cm) in diameter, and weighs an impressive 208.3 troy ounces.
